Undergraduate

BSc Economics and Finance

Who is it for?

This degree will appeal to you if you wish to obtain a general education in those disciplines which underlie the theory and practice of management, and yet at the same time specialise in economics.

It will also be of interest to you if you want to pursue further training in management and corporate disciplines or general management.

This degree will be valued by employers who are looking for people who can demonstrate logical and quantitative reasoning (e.g. accounting, banking and general management).

For further information, please refer to the descriptions for the BSc Economics and BSc Management.

This provides an opportunity for graduates of any discipline to gain an additional undergraduate degree by following a shorter than normal programme, successfully completing nine full units rather than twelve. This can normally be achieved in a minimum of two years with the exception of the BSc Economics, BSc Economics & Finance, BSc Development & Economics and the BSc Information Systems & Management.
