University of London  -  EXTERNAL PROGRAMME

International Management (China) (MSc and Postgraduate Diploma)

Individual Professional Courses – IPC

It is recognised by the University of London that many professionals need to increase and update their specialist knowledge by focusing on a particular subject instead of undertaking a whole MSc or Diploma programme. CeFiMS provide such professional training by distance learning through Individual Professional Courses – IPCs, also referred to as Short Courses.

An IPC can also act as a ‘taster’ for those unsure about the commitment involved in a full MSc programme, or distance learning as a study method.

The IPCs are also very flexible. Students may choose up to three courses from any of the programmes offered. Those who successfully complete IPCs may apply to join the MSc which includes the completed subject(s). If accepted to join the MSc, the IPC may be converted into academic credit and the course unit would not need to be repeated as part of the programme. Please note that students are not permitted to be registered for an IPC and an MSc at the same time.

Students registered for Individual Professional Courses (Short Courses) are classed as Occasional Students.
